Everything you're wondering about planning your USVI trip with us.
Yes, completely! Our planning service is 100% free to all travelers. We earn through partnerships with our vetted vendors, with no fees, no markups, ever. (And if you'd ever like to leave a tip, it's always welcome but never expected.)
Mel lives in the USVI and knows these islands inside and out: the hidden gems, the best vendors, and the experiences worth your time and money. You're not getting a 1-800 number; you're getting a local friend on the island.
We currently plan trips for St. Thomas and St. John. St. Croix is part of our long-term vision. Soon come!
Everything, from the perfect accommodations (resorts, condos and villas) to boat charters, BVI day trips, Jeep tours, kayak adventures, private chefs, car rentals, restaurant reservations and more.
The earlier the better! We recommend reaching out at least 60–90 days before your trip, especially for peak season (December–April). That said, we'll always do our best to help no matter the timeline.
Absolutely. Every vendor in our network is seasoned, licensed and insured; your safety and experience are our top priority.
Yes, and we love it! Milestone trips are our specialty: honeymoons, anniversaries, birthdays and family reunions. Just let us know the occasion and we'll make it unforgettable.
We're here on the island. Reach out directly and we'll do everything we can to make it right.
Not at all! Many of our clients come to us with just a destination and a dream. That's exactly what we're here for.
Absolutely! Travel insurance gives you peace of mind so you can focus on enjoying your trip. We're happy to help you with a free quote; just reach out and we'll take care of the rest.
The USVI is beautiful year-round! Peak season runs December through April with drier weather and lower humidity. May through November is our "secret season," with fewer crowds, lush green landscapes and great deals, though this overlaps with hurricane season (June–November).
No passport required for US citizens! The US Virgin Islands is a US territory, so just bring a valid government-issued ID. International travelers will need their passport.
We recommend a minimum of 5–7 days to truly experience the islands. If you're island-hopping or planning a special occasion, 10–14 days gives you the full VIP experience.
Yes! The most common way is the passenger ferry. The most frequent route runs from Red Hook on St. Thomas's east end to Cruz Bay, St. John, a beautiful 20-minute crossing throughout the day. There's also a less-frequent ferry from Charlotte Amalie downtown. Tickets are affordable and purchased at the terminal, with no advance reservation needed.
Of course! Once a VIP, always a VIP. We keep notes on what you loved and build on it every time you come back.
Simply fill out our planning form or schedule a call. Tell us a little about your trip: when you're going, what you're celebrating, what matters most, and we'll take it from there.
